Heyconnect helps German brands sell on La Redoute

Platform service provider Heyconnect has started a cooperation with French marketplace La Redoute. Now, Heyconnect can offer German and international brands the opportunity to offer their products on the popular French ecommerce platform for home and fashion.

 

Heyconnect has already supported the first brands to go live on La Redoute. Among them are Peter Hahn, Anna Aura, Basler and Emilia Lay. According to Heyconnect’s CEO Florian Curdt, brands could easily reach their target group on La Redoute because of its enormous reach, but also because he explains that in France, local marketplaces are more important than in Germany or other countries.

 

Often different requirements for each marketplace

 

“However, big marketplaces have a lot of barriers for brands. This is where we come into play and make possible what many brands cannot do alone”, he says, referring to the fact there are often different requirements for each marketplace. “Brands have difficulties to integrate the platform-complexity in their systems, so we manage this complexity and minimize the risk. Furthermore, we are the central interface to the platform and operate as partner of the brand”, Curdt explains.

 

Heyconnects in discussion with further platforms abroad

 

Heyconnect offers access to marketplaces and helps brands with technical integration, product presentation, logistics and platform marketing. With the cooperation with La Redoute, the German platform service provider wants to internationalize its marketplace business consistently. Curdt says the company is already in final discussions with further platforms abroad.
