Foshan Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center (GICEC) is located in Foshan, an important node city in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Its unique hardware conditions, including a venue floor with a load-bearing capacity of 10 tons per square meter and each suspension point designed to bear a maximum load of 2 tons, make it stand out nationwide. Positioned in the core area of the Guangzhou-Foshan Metropolitan Area and the high-end innovation gathering area of Sanlongwan in Foshan, GICEC is a high-end service platform vigorously promoted by Foshan City as part of its efforts to construct a high-quality development institutional mechanism and drive innovation in Guangdong Province. It serves as an important economic development carrier for accelerating the construction of a modern industrial system and promoting comprehensive openness in the region.

As a comprehensive convention and exhibition complex integrating functions such as exhibitions, conferences, and commercial activities, GICEC has a planned total land area of approximately 390,000 square meters and a total construction area of approximately 470,000 square meters. The main functional buildings include 10 column-free indoor exhibition halls of about 10,000 square meters each, 3 arrival halls, 17 multi-functional conference rooms, as well as supporting facilities such as an independent parking building with a capacity for 4,500 vehicles, a large outdoor VIP parking lot, a green valley atrium, an energy center, and warehouse buildings.

The GICEC project, from design and construction to operation, has been fully supported by consulting services provided by the international exhibition industry giant, Hannover Messe, headquartered in Germany. It is committed to integrating the rigorous and professional international genes of the German exhibition industry with the local exhibition industry. As a platform prioritized by the government, GICEC will fully leverage its advantages. With its location in the core area of the Pearl River Delta and relying on the strong manufacturing industry foundation locally, it aims to build an international exchange platform for advanced equipment manufacturing and intelligent manufacturing in the Pearl River Delta. It will construct an exhibition industry city featuring high-end manufacturing, research and development, exhibition, and logistics, promote the integration of trade shows with advantageous industries, and undertake the great mission of connecting regional economies and linking global markets.
